1948 Chevrolet 3100 Pickup Restomod
Description
OFFERED WITHOUT RESERVE
Immediately following the conclusion of World War II, Chevrolet was able to resume civilian production in August 1945. The model range received a well-deserved restyle in May 1947, with the truck line being referred to as the new "Advance Design" pickups. This design was wider, longer, and lower than its predecessor, with an equally stylish chrome grille. Powered by the venerable 216 cu-in "Stovebolt" inline-six, these trucks proved to be beloved by buyers as the number one selling truck in America. Today, they continue to be enjoyed by enthusiasts for their classic styling and ease of availability of parts for restorers and customizers alike.
