1938 Chevrolet Master Deluxe Town Sedan Idle
Description
When introduced in 1933, the Master and Master Deluxe were positioned at the top of the Chevrolet model line. Beginning with these models, General Motors crafted a uniform, corporate appearance for their cars, stemming from the Art and Color Section as directed by Harley Earl. These cars were offered as coupes, sedans, and for the first time, even a station wagon beginning in 1939. Continual innovations from more powerful engines to synchronized transmissions ensured their overall popularity. Today, these cars serve as a wonderful reminder of a bygone era or the perfect starting point for hot rodders seeking a basis for a custom build.
