Modified 1935 Ford De Luxe Three Window Coupe
Description
The 1932 Ford was legendary: it introduced the flathead V8 engine, as well as a timeless body style that became famous as the “Deuce” coupe. But just three years later, a sculpted new design emerged from the River Rouge Plant in Dearborn. And while it wasn’t initially as popular as the ’32, the 1935 Model 48’s sophisticated body, light weight, 85-horspower flathead V8, and three-speed manual transmission eventually seduced enthusiasts.
It was available in two- or four-door configurations, Standard or Deluxe trim, and a dizzying array of top and window options, but the 3-Window Coupe did most of the seduction. Its streamlined body was clean and sophisticated, so it was no surprise that hot rodders eventually started to customize it.
This 1935 Ford 3-Window Coupe is a modern twist on this pre-war hot rod. It wears a stunning two-tone paint job and a custom-tailored luxury interior, rides on an aftermarket suspension and chrome rims, and is powered by a V8 crate engine and an automatic transmission.
