Description
OFFERED WITHOUT RESERVE
In the early 2000s, Factory Five Racing, builder of popular Cobra kit cars, wanted to create a modernized version of the timeless 1933 Ford hot rod. It would share the same killer looks as the original, but the modern version would handle, perform, ride, and drive better. The team got to work, and a few years later Factory Five Racing was rewarded with the 2008 SEMA Best in Show Hot Rod award.
This Ford Custom is built on a tube frame with an A-arm front, a three-link or IRS rear suspension, and a manual steering rack. Aluminum chassis panels fit into the cockpit, trunk, and engine bay, and the body and its panels are made of composite. It comes with a full interior and accessories including bucket seats, steering column, dashboard with gauges, complete wiring kit, and upholstery. And on the outside, full lighting and a windscreen. It can house a classic or modern Ford or Chevy engine, and the package includes a driveshaft and fuel system for whichever drivetrain is installed.
This wild 1933 Factory Five Ford Custom was finished in a stunning shade of blue, drips attitude with its massive wheels and just-right stance, and puts out a dyno-proven 510 horsepower.

Ownership History
The consignor states, “This is a one-owner car. The build was upwards of $160,000. The color is supposedly Lucerne Blue from an early 1970s Trans Am. The painted side panels around the engine are completely custom, as the stock ones from Factory Five are solid.”
