1926 Ford Model T Runabout
Description
OFFERED WITHOUT RESERVE
Generally regarded as the world’s first mass-assembled and affordable car, the Ford Model T not only got America moving faster than the horse, but also increased mobility across the entire continent due to its affordability, versatility, and dependability. Model Ts could be ordered in a variety of configurations: a two-seat runabout, an open five-passenger tourer, or a bare chassis that could be outfitted to meet the exact needs of the buyer to name just a few. With increasing demand, Ford pushed to speed up production processes, owing to the now famous "any color so long as it is black" policy beginning in 1914 to 1925. Having refined their production process, for the final two years of Model T production, customers could choose from a variety of colors including blue, red, grey, and green. With help from factories all around the world, over 15,000,000 Model T’s were sold, helping to earn it the title of “The most influential car of the 20th century.”
