Description
OFFERED WITHOUT RESERVE
More than five decades after the LeBaron was first introduced in 1931, the storied Chrysler name moved to the front-wheel-drive K-Car platform in 1982, making the upscale vehicle about 800 pounds lighter and two feet shorter than its predecessor. Those factors combined to give new LeBarons improved gas mileage and make them more appealing to a wider audience.
Available in sedan, coupe, and convertible versions, standard amenities included power steering, brakes, windows, and door locks, along with cruise control, tilt steering, digital clock, electric cooling fan, and day/night inside mirror. The fancier Medallion version added a Landau-style padded vinyl roof, bodyside stripes, color-keyed wheel covers, halogen headlamps, a light/gauge alert group, and dual mirrors. Under the hood was a Mitsubishi-built 2.6-liter inline four-cylinder engine.
This 1982 Chrysler LeBaron Medallion, with optional three-speed automatic transmission, has received numerous mechanical upgrades in recent years and was last serviced in October 2024.
