454-Powered 1970 Chevrolet CST/10 4x4 Pickup
Description
OFFERED WITHOUT RESERVE
Second-generation C Series Chevrolet trucks are simply iconic. Launched in 1967 and running through 1972, the C10 sported a decidedly un-utilitarian look. In fact, the 1967 design had many car-like features: long nose, refined grille, sleek cab with small rear window, and a flush tailgate latch. Harry Bradley’s innovative design put the competition on notice.
By 1970 the C10 looked more “truck-like”, with an aggressive grille and a panoramic rear window. It was available in fleetside or stepside bodies, with 115- or 127-inch wheelbases, inline sixes or small- and big-block V8s, several manual and auto transmissions, and numerous gear ratios. But the big story was comfort: its ladder frame and coil spring suspension not only rode smoothly, but the C10 also spoiled its occupants with a host of convenience and power options.
This offroad-ready short bed mixes high-end options and tasteful modifications. The black exterior complements a swapped-in 454 cu-in V8 and 4x4 system, while the interior features air conditioning, power steering, tilt, power brakes, carpet, and an aftermarket Pioneer stereo. And the Custom Sport Truck option adds premium touches and unique trim.
