Description
OFFERED WITHOUT RESERVE
Introduced in 1976 and produced through 1986, the Jeep CJ-7 is from the renowned CJ (Civilian Jeep) series, which traces its roots back to the original WWII Willys MB. Compared to the CJ-5, the CJ-7 was much bigger; 144 inches long overall, its 93.5-inch wheelbase was 10 full inches longer than the CJ-5’s, which improved both legroom and ride and handling characteristics.
The CJ-7’s standard powertrain was a solid inline-six engine mated to a standard three-speed or optional four-speed manual transmission; an optional automatic with full-time Quadra-Trac four-wheel drive was offered for the first time. As production continued, front disc brakes became standard in 1977, and a fully boxed frame became standard in ’78.
This 1983 Jeep CJ-7 has been restored, with its straight bodywork featuring Laredo graphics and accents. Under hood, a fuel-injected V8 sends power to a four-wheel drive system, and a two-inch lift, premium shocks, and all-terrain tires ensure that it’s ready for whatever adventure its next owner can dream up.
