Modified 1965 Ford Mustang Fastback 2+2
Description
Hot on the heels of one of the most successful new car launches in history, Ford expanded the Mustang offering in 1965 to include a new Fastback 2+2. This car combined all of the sleek features found in more expensive offerings from Europe at a lower price and, best of all, was available at the local Ford dealer. Offering a large back window, increased rear seat room, and the practicality of a much larger car thanks to the fold-down seat offering twice the storage capacity as the Hardtop. An expanded selection of new engine and transmission choices created the right Mustang for nearly everyone. Thanks to a plentiful supply of aftermarket solutions, options have expanded, allowing cars to remain true to their factory specifications or modified, like this example.
