2000 Ferrari 456M GTA
Description
The 456 was the first Ferrari designed for the 21st century when it debuted in 1992. The 456M followed a few years later, in 1996, with the ‘M’ standing for Modificata as the cars were updated with updated styling and improved aerodynamics. The 456 continued the tradition of front-engine V12 2+2 grand touring cars ideally suited for gobbling miles at blistering speeds on the Autostrade. Both the standard 456 and the 456M were available in GT form with a six-speed manual transmission or in GTA form with an automatic transmission. Either transmission selection was relocated to the rear of the car, not only improving weight distribution but also adding to the spacious luxury for the passengers and their luggage. All of these virtues combine to create a true four-passenger coupe with sedan levels of comfort with expected Ferrari levels of performance.
