2007 Ford Shelby GT500 Convertible
Description
From the earliest Mustangs to the latest and greatest creations, you can bet that when you see a Shelby logo, you’ll find some of the fastest Mustangs that Ford has to offer. After helping the Blue Oval establish their ‘Total Performance’ program in the sixties, Shelby spent time away working on different projects before reconnecting with the House of Henry for the fifth generation of Mustang in 2005. Reintroduced for 2007, the supercharged GT500 offered excellent performance from the factory and was available in either Fastback or Convertible configuration. Naturally as the Mustang chose to reintroduce the Shelby badge, Ford’s Special Vehicle Team (SVT) director stated “Our goal was to build the most powerful, most capable Mustang ever.”
