Description
NO RESERVE
The legendary Roadmaster nameplate returned to the Buick line-up in 1991 and brought with it enormous proportions, a plush cabin, and a big V8 harkening back to the pre-oil crisis land yachts of the 50s and 60s. In Estate Wagon form, the new Roadmaster offered seating for eight thanks to a collapsible rear-facing third seat, 92.4 cubic feet of storage space, and a plethora of standard luxury equipment. From 1994 on, the Roadmaster was powered by the same 5.7-liter ‘LT1’ V8 found in the C4 Corvette, offering 80 additional horsepower while also improving fuel economy. Production came to an end in 1996, marking the last full-size, body-on-frame, rear-wheel drive station wagon produced by an American automaker – making them highly sought after as the last in a generation of excessively opulent American automobiles.
RADwood Ready RADwood is a festival that focuses on the culture and vehicles of the 1980s and 1990s. RADwood, and the “RADwood Era” are now commonly used to reference this period of bodacious automotive history. Hagerty took stewardship of RADwood in March of 2022 to build on the company’s purpose to save driving and car culture while expanding and supporting inspiring experiences for automotive enthusiasts.
