2003 Mercedes-Benz SL55 AMG Full Walkaround

2003 Mercedes-Benz SL55 AMG Start-Up Rear POV
Description
In 2003, the Mercedes-Benz SL55 AMG debuted in America as a luxurious, high-performance roadster. Based on the stylish SL500 two-seater, the SL55 features the aggressive styling and massive power that M-B's in-house AMG performance brand is famous for. Its hand-built, 5.5-liter supercharged V8 makes 493 horsepower, launching the SL55 to 60 mph in 4.5 seconds, and blasting through the quarter mile in 13 seconds flat at 110 mph. And while its top speed is restricted to 155, Mercedes claims that unlimited SL55s will do over 200 mph. One impressed Motor Trend tester stated, “Unless you have taken a handful of bravery pills, it's best to wait awhile before switching off the stability control.”
But the beastly SL55 also wears beautiful AMG-spec side skirts, front spoiler, and five-spoke wheels. It coddles occupants with Alcantara headliner, a 10-speaker audio system, and supremely comfortable leather seats. And it quickly retracts its power hardtop and raises a wind deflector, resulting in a comfortable and quiet top-down motoring experience.
With 7,017 miles and a documented maintenance history, this well-optioned, single-owner SL55 is a superb example of this unique sports car. And the blue-tint Diamond Silver paint only adds to its desirability.
