2010 Chevrolet Camaro 2SS RS Coupe
Description
The fifth-generation Chevrolet Camaro followed in the footsteps of the 2005 Ford Mustang and the then recently-revived 2008 Dodge Challenger in adopting many retro styling queues. The long-awaited 2010 Camaro boasted a sophisticated modern package with fully independent suspension clad in bulging, muscular body panels, with Car and Driver calling it in their test, “the freshest and most modern package of the three.” In SS trim, the Camaro’s 6.2-liter LS3-and-manual combo, or L99 V8 mated to an automatic transmission was rated at 400 hp and 410 lb-ft of torque, far exceeding the 2010 Mustang GT’s 315 horses.
