Description
OFFERED WITHOUT RESERVE
The 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle is considered by many to be one of the best-looking muscle cars ever built in Detroit, owing in part to its freshly-redesigned sheet metal, which gave the car a more curvaceous and sporting appearance. Teased with “The performance starts as you’re seated”, the second-generation Chevrolet Chevelle offered a powerful punch to back up those good looks.. Offered in a variety of body styles from a two-door Sport Coupe all the way up to a spacious four-door Station Wagon, customers had an assortment of trim levels that appealed to nearly everyone. Despite the overwhelming demand for Muscle Cars, impending emission restrictions, and rising insurance costs meant that this was the zenith of an era that defined automotive Americana for many.
