1997 Ford Mustang GT Convertible Cold Start and Walk Around Video
Description
Emerging from the doldrums of the Malise era, the previous Fox-body Mustang brought sporting performance back to Ford’s famous Pony Car. With the start of a new decade, the next generation was launched in 1993, representing the first major revision in 15 years. The cars were launched with a base, 3.6-liter V6, and a 5.0-liter V8 in the GT models. Starting in 1996, a new 4.6-liter V8 replaced the 5.0, offering the same performance level, but with decreased operating costs. All were available with a four-speed automatic transmission or an engaging five-speed manual. With no other car offering the same legendary blend of style, performance, and history quite like the Ford Mustang, it is no wonder that the appeal of these four-generation cars is still strong today.
