1997 Honda Prelude

Description
Honda debuted the fifth and final generation of the two-door Prelude coupe in 1996, quickly garnering three consecutive Car and Driver “10 Best” awards for its nimble handling, high-revving engine, and modern conveniences. Consolidated into two trim levels for the 1997 model year, both the base Prelude and Prelude SH gained an additional five horsepower from their 2.2-liter VTEC inline-four-cylinder engines. Equipped with standard air conditioning, anti-theft immobilizer, and an acoustic-feedback sound system, the already serene cabin received additional soundproofing and structural upgrades from 1997. The result was one of the most refined and dynamic driving experiences in the sports-coupe class at the time, which can be enjoyed today in this low-mileage, well-preserved example.
