1976 Chevrolet C10 Walkaround
Description
The third-generation Chevrolet C10 pickup, often referred to as the "Rounded Line" due to its rounded body styling, marked a significant evolution in the design and functionality of Chevrolet trucks. The C10 designation indicated a half-ton, two-wheel-drive truck, suitable for light-duty tasks.
Chevrolet introduced Custom Deluxe trim in 1975 as the base trim level — positioned below the Scottsdale and Silverado trims — and it offered a more affordable option for consumers while still providing essential features and comfort. Under the hood, the 1976 Chevrolet C10 could be equipped with various engines, starting with a 250 cubic-inch inline-six up to a 400 cu-in V8.
This 1976 Chevrolet C10 Custom Deluxe, equipped with a 250 I6 engine, was professionally restored by its original owner in 2005. Upgrades included replacing the doors, fenders, rocker panels, cab corners, bedsides, rear step bumper, and windshield, and it was refinished in factory correct Hawaii Blue paint with a Frost White roof. In addition, the pickup’s bench seat received new blue vinyl and plaid cloth upholstery, and it was given a chrome front bumper with overriders, tow mirrors, and Duraliner drop-in bed liner. The family of the C10’s original owner kept it until 2022.
