Upon debut in 1996, the Porsche Boxster – their first new car in close to 15 years – was an instant success not only for its nimble handling and 550 Spyder inspired looks but its high build quality as well. Just four years later Porsche once again satisfied their tough to please fan base with a highly anticipated Sport model aptly named Boxster S. The ‘S’ added more than a letter to the nameplate with a 3.2-liter Boxster S engine producing 30 additional horsepower over the standard model.
