Description
The C4 ZR1 Corvette was dubbed “King of the Hill” by Chevrolet when it was being developed, and it came to earn that moniker once released. The car was instantly praised by automotive journalists as an American sports car marvel, boasting 1.0g on the skidpad, and sub 5 second 0-60 times. Its 32-valve, 5.2 liter V-8 engine was a work of art, developed in partnership with GM’s Lotus Division and featuring an aluminum block and heads. The slick shifting 6-speed manual ZF transmission was icing on the cake, delivering 380 horsepower to the massive 315/35 rear tires. This low-mileage example, in original bright red paint with red leather interior, represents a lovely piece of Corvette history.
