Description
As perhaps the most instantly recognizable model in Porsche’s history, the 930-generation 911 Turbo is considered by many to be the perfect blend of iconic design and exhilarating performance. The wider, flared fenders not only give the 930 an aggressive stance, but also accommodate larger wheels and tires to provide better grip and stability while the Turbo tail rear spoiler offered additional downforce and iconic looks. Equipped with an air-cooled turbocharged flat-six engine, power is transmitted to the rear only delivering a visceral driving experience enhanced by the distinctive rush provided by turbocharged acceleration. Inside, a timeless driver-focused cockpit offers both comfort and functionality for those who want to experience the thrill of performance without sacrificing luxury. Combining raw power, timeless design, and world-class engineering, the 1987 Porsche 911 Turbo represents the near-apex of the classic Type 930.
