Description

OFFERED WITHOUT RESERVE

The Ford Model T is generally regarded as the world's first mass-assembled and affordable car. Not only did it get America moving faster than a horse, but it increased mobility across the entire planet not only due to its affordability but its versatility as well. Model Ts could be ordered in a variety of configurations: a two-seat runabout, a five-seat open tourer, or a bare chassis that could be outfitted to meet the exact needs of the buyer, to name just a few. With increasing demand, Ford pushed to speed up production processes, owing to the now famous "any color so long as it is black" policy beginning in 1914. With help from factories all around the world, over 15,000,000 Model T's were sold, helping to earn it the title of "The most influential car of the 20th century."
