Description
OFFERED WITHOUT RESERVE
The 1963 Corvette Sting Ray was an automotive bombshell the press couldn’t stop praising. But after two years of refinement, the 1965 Corvette made even more headlines. First up was the new four-wheel disc brake option, developed by GM’s Delco Moraine division – the first on an American production car. The engine lineup was increased to include larger, higher performance options allowing the Corvette to further expand on its sporting image. Available as either a Coupe or a Convertible, this All-American sports car satisfied a range of customers, whether they were looking for a weekend cruiser or a potent car to go racing, thanks to its long list of options. All of this went to ensure that it would remain a coveted collector's item today.
This car was reported stolen in April 2022, and has since been recovered, prior to it now being owned by Hagerty (more details in the Ownership History section below). Before the car was recovered, the top had been cut, and the lock cylinders were damaged, but have since been repaired, and the attached invoice shows the work that has been done to correct the resulting issues. It’s now offered with a clean title, fresh service, and without reserve!
