1941 Dodge WC-21 Weapons Carrier
Description
Building off of the approval of the 1940 VC series, Dodge improved their half-ton four-wheel drive trucks for 1941 with the WC. With a function-over-form approach, the WC-21 featured a simple slat-style grille and redesigned fenders to prevent mud from collecting and hindering forward progress. The chassis was lengthened to aid in overlanding performance. A total of 38 different models of WC trucks were built, with 30 of them featuring four-wheel drive. These trucks ranged from closed cab pickups, command cars, radio cars, ambulances, telephone maintenance, or open cab pickups. Unlikely to be seen on roads today, the WC-21 Weapons Carries is a unique vehicle that would be welcome at any military gathering or World War II reenactment.
The Military Collection
The five military trucks on offer today all come from a single collection that is focused on preserving military history. This selection of trucks served vital roles with the US Military in both theaters of World War II. Today they are offered in restored condition, eager to partake in a parade, reenactment, or any other gathering of military vehicles.
