Description
Initially launched in 1971, the ‘R107’ generation of SL received only minor cosmetic improvements in the resulting years, culminating in the range-topping 560 SL. With sales limited to only the North American, Japanese, and Australian markets, these cars became an instant classic when the last one rolled off the production line. A fantastic touring car, it features a 5.5-liter V8 - the largest engine ever offered in the ‘R107’ - which is paired perfectly with a smooth-shifting four-speed automatic transmission. The 560 SL makes the perfect all-around classic perfectly suited for a boulevard cruise, a weekend through the mountains, or any other automotive adventure.
