Description

OFFERED WITHOUT RESERVE

New for 1973, the 280 sedan was positioned just below the S-Class in the Mercedes-Benz lineup as a part of the new executive segment. The midsize W114 series received a robust lineup of engines to suit every client’s needs, including the dual overhead cam six-cylinder engine equipped in this 280. Finished in ‘White’ over Bamboo MB-Tex, the interior is typical of a Mercedes from this era, which is to say well-crafted, understated, and practical. The exterior is a continuation of the sturdy and practical styling which had made the W110 a best-seller, additionally benefitting from a minor facelift in 1973, which brought a new front bumper and a lower, wider radiator grill.
