Description

Jeep is known for their “go-anywhere, do anything” rugged beginnings, providing the US military with dependable, four-wheel-drive trucks since World War II. After the war, Jeep would keep true to these core values while simultaneously adding models with additional amenities for the civilian market. In 1962, Jeep unveiled its top-of-the-line Grand Wagoneer, marketing it as a station wagon with off-road capabilities and creating the Sport Utility Vehicle segment in the process. The Grand Wagoneer was ahead of its time, a true luxury SUV decades before the concept existed in the minds of most Americans. Capturing a unique market segment, the Grand Wagoneer was on sale with only minor updates for a remarkable 29 years! The success of this model is legendary, a perfect combination of both form and function. Wherever the destination may be, these sure-footed vehicles get you there in comfort and style.

Ownership History

The accompanying Carfax report shows this Grand Wagoneer was in North Carolina from 1994 until it was sold in 2009. The vehicle was offered for sale again in 2011 and moved from Virginia to Washington, D.C., where it was exempt from mileage reporting. When the previous owner purchased the car, returning it to Virginia, Carfax noted a ‘Not Actual Mileage Title’ was issued, likely a result of the previous exempt mileage status. The current owner brought the car to New Jersey after purchasing the Jeep in early 2022, and it has a clear title that currently shows no mileage issues. It is garage kept, but can be driven daily.
