The Automotive Restoration Program at McPherson College would greatly appreciate the following used items that are in good, serviceable condition for their students (Please Note: Equipment that is “out-of-date” for machine and auto shops working on newer vehicles may be perfect for the restoration program):

HAND TOOLS:

  • Body hammers
  • Nylon metal forming hammers
  • Hand dollies
  • Bulls eye picks
  • Stainless steel flexible rulers
  • Welding vice grips of various jaw length
  • Standard and philips screwdrivers
  • 1/4″, 3/8″, and 1/2″ socket sets with rachet and regular and deep sockets
  • Standard and metric combination wrenches
  • 3/8″ and 1/2″ drive breaker bars
  • Right and left curve aircraft snips
  • 3/8″ electric drills, reversible
  • Drill bits
  • Electric grinders
  • 25′ heavy duty extension cords, 110 volt
  • 10′ heavy duty extension cords, 220 volt
  • Trouble lights
  • Belt/disk sander on stand
  • 3 1/4″4″ angle grinders

EQUIPMENT:

  • Tire changer
  • Tire balancer
  • Spotwelder
  • Pulmax machine
  • Electric storage lifts
  • 48″ or larger sheetmetal sheer
  • 8′ or larger sheetmetal break
  • Sheetmetal shrinker-stretcher

MATERIALS:

  • Ford Model A or Model T parts or vehicles
  • 1966 Mustang Fastback body
  • 20 ga. sheetmetal
  • Hardwood
  • Upholstery and trim material
  • Abrasive materials

COMPUTER RELATED:

  • AutoCad software
  • Large format (36″ or larger) plotter, Postscript capable
